Hello! My name is Dr. R.J. Risueño.
I’m a passionate bilingual speech-language pathologist and researcher whose work centers on improving early identification and intervention for children with or at-risk for language and literacy disorders.
What I Do
At my core, I am an interventionist. For almost 10 years, I have worked with children and families from preschool through sixth grade to build language and reading comprehension skills using rich narrative and informational texts.
